No referral is required. You can book an appointment directly with the clinic without seeing a GP first.
Is chiropractic care safe?
Chiropractic care is considered safe when provided by a registered and experienced practitioner. Treatment is always tailored to the individual.
Can you process private health claims on the spot?
Yes, on-the-spot claiming is available for most private health funds. Patients are advised to bring their private health card to appointments.
What is an EPC (Chronic Disease Management) plan?
A Chronic Disease Management plan is prepared by a GP for patients with long-term conditions and may allow a limited number of subsidised allied health visits each year.
What conditions do chiropractors treat?
Chiropractors commonly treat back pain, neck pain, headaches, postural issues, joint stiffness and general musculoskeletal discomfort.
Is chiropractic covered by private health insurance?
Chiropractic care is covered by many private health insurance extras policies. Coverage and rebates vary depending on your fund and level of cover.
Is chiropractic covered by Medicare?
Chiropractic care is not generally covered by Medicare unless it forms part of an EPC (Chronic Disease Management) plan arranged by a GP. Eligibility and rebates depend on individual circumstances.
How long does a chiropractic appointment take?
